Welcome to Musik'n'Motion

MusikgartenPriscilla's Musik'n'Motion specializes in the very important pre-instrumental early childhood developmental years - from three months to 6 years of age.  Our classes are predominantly based on the Musikgarten USA curriculum which offers an age-appropriate comprehensive sequential plan for musical development.  Based on over 30 years of research, Musikgarten has created a curriculum that meets the developmental needs of all children.  We are the first Musikgarten licensed curriculum in Hong Kong.

We use additional songs and activities from Lynn Kleiner's series of books.  Lynn has over 20 years experience making music with children and is considered a leader in the early childhood music education field.

Priscilla's Musik'n'Motion is a proud member and is fully accredited by the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA USA).

In a world that often confuses entertainment with education, classes at Priscilla's Musik'n'Motion are educational, purposeful and fun where favourite songs, stories and dances are revisited and built upon - making learning easy where every child is successful.  All of our materials are pedagogically sound and are age-appropriate to meet the musical needs of your children.

For more information, visit Musikgarten USA, Lynn Kleiner's Music Rhapsody, and the ECMMA websites.

All babies are born with an aptitude for music. But research shows that their aptitude diminishes if it is not nurtured. By singing and dancing for and with our children in a variety of tonalities, meters and styles we are helping our children reach their full music potential.

This class offers adults the opportunity to play with their babies in a musical setting, experiencing music and movement activities designed to delight the child and awaken his or her curiosity about music. By singing, dancing, bouncing, and rocking, the child's music aptitude is being carefully nurtured, laying the foundation for beat awareness, vocal production, and aural discrimination.
